Ukraine has gained the 2022 Eurovision Tune Contest, with Kalush Orchestra’s shifting conflict anthem ‘Stefania’ raking within the fan votes.
The war-torn European nation was topped winner after viewers voting dramatically modified the rankings on the eleventh hour, leaving UK’s Sam Ryder in second place.
‘Stefania’ has been recognised as an anthem of resilience and braveness within the face of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

“Thanks a lot, thanks for supporting Ukraine,” rapper Oleh Psiuk mentioned after the win.
“This victory is for all Ukrainians,” he added.
Emotional followers took to social media to precise their pleasure at Ukraine’s last-minute win.
